The concept of boycotting. If you boycott the artist, you're teaching them a lesson..not to do cheap publicity in the name of selling a movie. If you don't boycott, you are funding the movie and dismissing the behavior of the artist by indirectly promoting the artist and their work. The movie chhapak is not going anywhere. Chhapak has been created. It can be watched next year, next month It can be watched any time of day. Some movies become cult classics even years after they have been released. The whole point of the boycott is not to fund the pockets of cheap artists who support anti-nationals. If Laxmi was to obtain the profits through the movie as royalties to better her life, then the matter would be different.
