Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will install the sacred ‘Sengol’ in the new Parliament building on May 28. ‘Sengol’ signifies the transfer of power. “PM Modi will dedicate the newly constructed building of Parliament to the nation on May 28. A historical event is being revived on this occasion. The historical Sceptre, ‘Sengol’, will be placed in the new Parliament building,” he said.
