I'm not defending anyone ...Islam forbids pagan worship..Sticking a tree in your house and decorating the thing is pagan worship ..

We used to have a xmas tree at home all the time, then stopped as we got older..mates at school who were Muslim never celebrated xmas

Personally I think its a choice if someone wants to celebrate or not
