Kalyug is a term used in Hinduism to refer to the current era, which is believed to be marked by a decline in moral values and an increase in suffering and negativity. According to Hindu scriptures, the Kalyug began after the end of the previous era called Dwaparyug .
There are different interpretations of when the Kalyug era will end and when the Kalki Avatar will appear. Some Hindu scholars believe that the Kalyug has already ended, while others believe that it will last for 4,32,000 years. The exact timing of the Kalki Avatar's arrival is also a subject of debate, with some predicting it to happen soon and others believing it to be far in the future.
