The Speaker of Canada's House of Commons apologised for praising an individual who served in a Nazi unit during World War II in the presence of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
TalkTV’s Peter Cardwell is joined by foreign affairs expert Mary Dejevsky who says: “It’s a reflection of the very tangled history of Ukraine and the strength of the Ukrainian lobby in Canada - it has a very complicated history.
“He’s obviously a hero to a certain part of the Ukrainian immigration in Canada,” she says.
