This was the moment a team of Immigration Enforcement officers swarmed a restaurant near Bristol and arrested two men suspected to have no legal right be working there, as part of a crackdown on businesses employing illegal workers.
As soon as the Home Office immigration team entered Posh Spice in the High Street in Nailsea, two of the workers - who had been preparing the food just before the restaurant opened on Wednesday night - threw off their aprons and tried to flee from the rear of the restaurant, only to be stopped by officers positioned at the back.
Inside, Home Office immigration officials spent more than two hours interviewing and assessing the status of workers in the restaurant, while outside people who had booked tables at the popular restaurant arrived to find notices closing down the establishment for 24 hours, while court proceedings began.
